Rhylie, my youngest little girl, was standing on a chair next to me while I was doing some photo-editing on the Mac. She was peering out the window at the family of birds perched in our tree. She was so lost in thought, so I figured it was the perfect moment to grab my camera and photograph her — the window light was just right — her face was illuminated, and the light tapered off behind her — it was beautiful. I’d never really used window light intentionally before, but I think the results are great! 🙂 Here are a few of my favorite shots…

The littles and I decided to pass the time this afternoon by testing out new places around our house to take pictures — we came up with two — inside the bed of daddy’s truck, which is parked in front of our house, and right inside the garage!
It turns out, garages are perfect spots to take closeup’s, or even full length shots. It was about 1:00 in the afternoon when we were doing this, and the light was soooo bright!
The second is a shot of the bug sittin’ on the bed of my hubby’s monsterous truck!
