hi, friends! my name is jaime and i am a family lifestyle & portrait photographer who lives for capturing the beautiful-messy-every-day-glory-type-moments we call LIFE, for families throughout ankeny, des moines, urbandale, johnston, west des moines, waukee, ames, and the rest of iowa.<\/p>\n
when i’m not shooting, you can probably find me goofing around with my littles, hiking up in ledges state park, slowly sipping an unsweetened black iced tea, or traveling across the country with my family of four. we love to explore new places together, and there is no place is too far!

\ni’ve lived in four states – wisconsin, texas, california, iowa \u2014 in that order – midwest is the best.<\/em>
\ni love all things snow – building snowmen, forts, tubing, skiing, and snow angels.
\nmy littles & i are packer fans (my hubby is a cowboy).
\ni love to laugh … and think it’s a cure for just about anything.
\ni can say all 50 states alphabetically in 25 seconds<\/em>.
\ni love LIVE music and rollerskating — what a trip that would be if you could put them together!!
\ni really don’t like pickles (or folding laundry).
\ni shoot canon with my left eye \u2014 both eyes open.
\ni was born apple – you will not change my mind.
\nmy parents, siblings, & littles are apples … but my husband\u2026is a PC. face palm
\ni love the words ninja, persnickety, wicked, stoked, sweeeeet!
\ni often make up my own ridonkerous words as well.
\ni’ve been known to make a mean pineapple upside down cheesecake.
\nmy quesadillas aren’t bad either.
\ni love summer storms, so long as they don’t bring tornadoes that threaten our very existence.
\ni LIVE for photo-traveling the country with my littles – we’ve covered half the US together.
\ni looooove\u00a0moody light,\u00a0the golden hour,\u00a0and shades of fall.
\nmy family lives across the US – alaska to michigan – but i have a 10yr iowa relocation plan.
\nevery age and stage has been my favorite, where my littles are concerned.
